Nathan Carr
Stoke-on-Trent, England
Born and raised in Solihull, England, I'm an 18-year-old Sports Journalism student at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent. I established The Home of Caribbean Football in June 2012 with the aim of convincing the masses that there is more to the Caribbean than just Reggae music, sandy beaches and turquoise sea. Since then the website has generated readership in over 170 countries around the world. I provide coverage on Caribbean international teams, tournaments, domestic leagues, players abroad and up-and-coming stars.
I've written about Caribbean football for the likes of World Soccer, Bleacher Report, When Saturday Comes, Goal USA, A Football Report and Sabotage Times as well as talked about it for AFR’s World Football Show on Sports Tonight Live, Feuerstein’s Fire Show, Women’s World Football Show and Mexican Soccer Show. Through running my website, I've been able to build up a highly respectable network of contacts including players, coaches, journalists and officials based across the islands.
