Carilynn Richard
My name is Carilynn Richard and I am an elementary/middle education major with a specialization in science. I grew up in Frederick County, Maryland and I have played soccer all my life. I played Varsity Women’s soccer for Frostburg State University during my freshman year. For my sophomore and junior years I have played club soccer and intramural soccer for Frostburg. I am currently working as a resident assistant in the dormitories of Frostburg State University. My job is to manage the residents in the dorms, create monthly bulletin boards and door decorations for each resident’s door per semester. In addition, I have to create ten different programs throughout the year based on predetermined requirements. Per my teaching career, I have dreamt of becoming a teacher since I was in elementary school, and that desire was strengthened when I completed my first internship in my hometown. My goal is to create a learning environment for my future classroom that is fun and engaging for all students. I can’t wait to begin my career and start my internships for Frostburg State University.
