Carina Wong

Hey there, I’m Carina. I recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Currently, I work as an Analyst at Nielsen where I support consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients. My first full-time role was in the world of retail where I worked in pricing at Canadian Tire's head office. Previously, I worked in Tokyo at Hotel Reservation Service (an accommodations booking company) and at home here in Toronto at Creators' Lounge (a boutique communications agency) as part of a unique study and work exchange program. In addition, during university I took my first steps into the corporate world while working at Hydro One and the Royal Bank of Canada. Now, enough about work and on to the fun stuff.

Travelling and photography are my two biggest loves. After spending five months in Taiwan as part of a university exchange program and travelling around East Asia, I grew to love travelling and documenting my travels through photography. Now, I jump at every opportunity I get to explore the world. Thus far, my wanderlust has taken me across 3 continents (Asia, Europe and North America), 8 countries (Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, China, England, Netherlands, France, and the US), and 33 cities and counting! My love for learning has helped me become multilingual (thus far I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin) and this has proven to be a great asset during my travels abroad.
