30 + years of teaching experience in person and online.

My first teaching experience was In Buenos Aires, Argentina , were I was born,when I was 16. Early on I knew that learning had to be fun and sweet. So I allowed my fiirst student to take ping pong breaks every 20 minutes.

After obtaining my teacher training certificate in 1988, I was hired to teach drama at an elementary school to enhance students' command of the English language.

From 1991 to 2020, I've been offering Spanish private individual and group lessons to students of varied ages, abilities and backgrounds in Boston,New York city, Newburgh, Jersey city and Hoboken.

For several years, I held monthly intensive potlucks in which participants shared their productions in response to specific given assignments about a theme in a casual and friendly atmosphere.

Starting in 2018 I incorporated online teaching.

My classes are fun and creative! They are designed to meet the needs, learning styles and interests of students, whether the goal is to pass a test, apply it in the job, connect with people, or enjoy a culture.

I have two bilingual children who are profficient in both languages. One is 24 and the other one 16.

I feel that by teaching Spanish I empower people to be more self- confident , more resourceful and more appreciative of the " Hispanic culture". I also contribute to the world's peace as cultural barriers drop when people of different cultures can speak the same language and thus get to know and respect each other.
