Carin Eirene Metsger

Springfield, OH

Committed to serving and improving her community, Carin Eirene Metsger is a devoted volunteer with the Fellowship Christian Church in Springfield, Ohio. There she has occupied a number of roles, including events coordinator, designing and facilitating retreats and similar events for college-age students; and administrative assistant, providing clerical support to a number of pastors within the church. Having a particular interest in women’s issues, Carin Eirene Metsger has led church discussion groups for young women transitioning from adolescence to adulthood, helping them build fulfilling relationships and make meaningful connections during a challenging part of life.

Metsger took the opportunity to nurture her connection with her faith by attending Cedarville University, one of the Midwest’s top Christian colleges. During her undergraduate years, she completed coursework in biblical studies, applied psychology, and counseling, earning a BA and receiving scholarships for her academic excellence and leadership abilities.

Professionally, Metsger worked for a number of years as site director for Springfield’s Addictions Resource Center, Inc. There she managed the Driver Intervention Program, and worked with clients struggling with addiction issues.
