Carl Lehmann
Carl is an IT analyst and advisor for 451 Research, where he specializes in enterprise architecture (EA), enterprise integration (EI), and business process management (BPM).
Prior to joining 451 Research, Carl was the founder and Principal Analyst of BPMethods, where he advised clients on business strategy and process management. He published four e-books on various IT and BPM topics. His hardcover book, 'Strategy and Business Process Management: Techniques for Improving Execution, Adaptability, and Consistency' was published in March 2012 by Taylor and Francis Group.
Prior to BPMethods, Carl ran strategy, product management and professional services for a B2B integration firm, where he developed SaaS and IaaS offerings that managed e-commerce processes for over 4,000 companies. He also spent 10 years as a Vice President of Research for IT advisory firms Gartner and META Group, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on how to use emerging technologies to improve business process performance and results.
Carl's career began as a Project Manager for AT&T and a Product Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard), where he helped pioneer cable modem technology and broadband Internet services.
Carl is a graduate of Boston University’s School of Management, with degrees in Finance and International Management.
