Manage all facets of a monthly world music event (Global Beats) including concept, execution and built brand image in an underserved market niche. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Producer of a weekly one hour radio program focusing on culturally relevant news, local events and music. Show airs on Fridays from 6-7 pm in English and Portuguese. Work with a variety of influential arts organizations promoting events. Interviewed guests have included Brazilian former president Jose Sarney and artists such as Daniela Mercury, Jorge Ben Jor, Beth Carvalho, Almir Guineto, Grupo Corpo, Paula Lima and Daniel Jobim. Achievements: Attended the Brazilian Focus Brazil and Brazilian Press Awards Event in 2010, 2009 and 2008 Served as Master of Ceremony at the Latin American and Caribbean Festival, 2003 to present. Co-hosted and moderated the World Affairs Council event, World Quest, with WTAE's new's anchor, Sally Wiggins. Moderator of the "Pittsburgh Summit- Behind the Scenes" event in August of 2009. Consultant for the G-20 Pittsburgh Summit Partnership - provided expertise on issues related to the organization of the G-20 Summit which brought more than 20 world leaders to Pittsburgh. Conceptualized and currently manage the implementation of a website, www.arrepiabrasil.org, to serve the local Brazilian constituency and those with an interest in Brazilian culture and language. Created marketing communication programs to grow membership and website visits. Write and publish electronic newsletters using email applications. Represented the Brazilian Community at the "Focus Brazil" conferences and "Brazilian Press Awards" ceremonies in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Hosted a reception for now Minister of Foreign Relations, Antonio Patriota, in 2009. Received award for outstanding community work in 2010.
