In mid-2016, I founded Charismata so that I could provide energy clients global and national talent acquisition and technical sourcing services as well as support the recruitment of U.S. veterans in all fields. I strive to connect the right talent for each position and business culture. Through my company, I also offer candidate branding and coaching, marketing, technical writing, and project management services.
To help rocket-launch me in my new business, I'm enrolled in AIRS' Recruiter Academy to learn from the best on how to be a stellar talent acquisition ninja. Thus far, I have acquired the following certifications: Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC); Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter (CSSR); Certified Social Media Recruiter (CSMR). Before the end of 2017, I will also secure the following certifications: Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR); Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter (ACIR); Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter (CDR); and Certified Military Veteran Recruiter (CMVR).
Overall, I am very excited about my new venture and look forward to helping my clients staff and grow their businesses.

I can truly say I'm in a great place in my life, right now. I'm happy with what I've been blessed with and excited to see what else God has planned for me. I've had my share of challenges but I've also learned a lot and grown so much. There is a freedom that comes in being comfortable with one's self and where one is in her life. I know this freedom has come because I've strengthened my identity in and my relationship with God.
I'm really enjoying the adventure of being a small business owner. It's invigorating to be able to use my talents, education, and past experiences to help companies and individuals. I'm so grateful for the flexibility this opportunity gives me. Now, I'm able to travel as I need and want to. Since starting my own talent acquisition business, I've see more of my family (in Asia) and my dearest friends (who are scattered across California) as well as volunteer more with the Children's Ministry at Sequoyah Community Church. Maybe one day I'll be like one of those people on House Hunters International... ;D
