Hey there, I’m Carla. I’m a mother living in Milton Keynes, UK. I am a fan of writing, wine, and food. I’m also interested in cooking and shopping. You can read my blog with a click on the button above.

I am a mother, wife and friend! I love being able to share my knowledge with the world and have been writing as a side hustle and hobby for a little while now. I really enjoy being able to write for different publications and share some of my knowledge. I have written for the likes of Discount Promo Codes, my personal blogs and local advice columns. I love getting involved in forums (especially finance related ones) and I am a member of a money meet up locally!

Apart from having two amazing daughters that I love dearly, my day job is a receptionist. I love being able to work flexibly and spend time with the kids!

I am always on the lookout for new projects and hobbies to get involved with, and this includes anything from volunteering and writing to the arts, financial advice and much more! My Skills:

Financial advice: I have been giving financial advice to people (friends, family, clients and online forums/writing) for a good few years now. I feel that I have some really valuable advice for those of you that need it! Plus I love it too!

Writing: Writing has been a side hustle and hobby of mine for a few years now and I have really enjoyed it. I mostly submit articles to blogs free of charge and I find it very challenging and fun!

Organisation: Being a receptionist, I am always very organised with everything that I am doing. This means that working with me will be easy and well structured!

Confident: I am confident in using the telephone, in delegation and in my organisation and presentation skills.

Education:

Business Studies: I have gained a degree in business from the University of Bath Spa.

Online: I am often undergoing further study online, this includes a personal finance course, a money management course, and an accounting course.

Over all I am a happy and determined mother, writer and financial guru who is looking for new networking opportunities, challenges and projects to be a part of! I really enjoy meeting new people and look forward to potentially working with you in the future!
