Carla Michelle Johnson

CARLA MICHELLE JOHNSON has over ten years of experience and has worked on groundbreaking productions with many of the industries highly recognized directors such as Roland Emmerich, Spike Lee, Craig Brewer, Dave Meyers, Maurice Marable, Dale Resteghini, John Singleton, Bryan Barber, Little X, and Benny Boom. Her list of corporate clients include BET Networks, CNN, Island Def Jam, RCA Music Group, Sony Music, Sanders / Wingo, Cramer-Krasselt, as well as, Erwin-Penland. A native of Tarzana, California, Ms. Johnson began her career after earning her Bachelor Degree in Computer Art Motion Graphics from Savannah College of Art and Design. Upon graduation, she moved to Atlanta and began employment with The Weather Channel as a broadcast designer; here she designed graphics for their special extreme weather related projects. It wasn't before long that Carla eventually left the Weather Channel and found herself pursuing a career within the family business in video, film, and media production. Since then, she has worked award winning artists and actors such as P.Diddy, T-Pain, Ludacris, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Terrance Howard, Anthony Anderson, and Steve Harvey. Many of the productions that she has worked on have received industry recognition. Also, many of the music videos on which she collaborated have been nominated for MTV Music Video Awards. After many years working in the media and entertainment industry, her dedication and passion for filmmaking secured her admiration and betterment in the film industry. She also shares her triumph and exertion with many well-established record labels, large advertising agencies, and successful production companies.
