I am a computer engineer who is specialized in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). After spending some time in the industry, I am now doing research on the design of graphical user interfaces for the self-assessment of emotional states, comprising concepts like wellbeing, validity, usability, and engagement (through creative expression techniques). I also coordinate the HIT research group (Human Interface Technologies) at iNOVA Media Lab, where HCI techniques are employed to ideate, design, build, test, validate and document new technologies.
