Carla has 20 years experience in strategic marketing communications and branding – instart-up, emerging and public company environments from B2B to consumer. She was on themanagement team at Niehaus Ryan Wong, considered one of the “IT” high tech PR andbranding agencies during the Dotcom heyday. From there, Carla ran global PR for Barra (nowpart of Morgan Stanley). Next, she ran marcom for emerging company iRise, and launched theircontent network in the very early days of social media. On the consumer front, Carlarelaunched Plaxo, and has also done go-to-market strategies for international companiesentering the U.S. market, such as CrowdPark (gaming, Earlybird company) and Trendyol(fashion, KPCB company).
