Carla Turner

Carla has worked as a TX Realtor for 10 years in beautiful East Texas. She is a member of The Greater Tyler Association of Realtors (GTAR), the professional association where she recently ended her third consecutive year as a Director for the Board of Directors. In 2015, she served as committee chairperson of the Community Service Committee for GTAR and has chaired the Public Relations Committee & Professional Development committees in previous years. She is a former president for a local, East Texas BNI chapter, she served from 2008-2010 as 2nd Vice President for the Women's Auxiliary of the East Texas Regional Fraternal Order of Police, she currently volunteers on the Building Standards Committee of her personal neighborhood, and she was recently invited to serve on a local leadership team for the city of Tyler.

Carla earned her associates degree in piano from Lon Morris College, and went on to graduate with a business degree from The University of Texas at Tyler.

She has had the opportunity to watch & take part in the excitement of UT Tyler first hand as coach of the UT Tyler cheerleaders from 2009-2014. She continues to give back to her university by serving & volunteering as a member of The UT Tyler Regional Alumni Council.

Carla is married to her high school sweetheart, Jimmy, for 12 years. They are raising their family of two boys in Tyler.
