Carla Zanoni

Writer in New York City, NY

Hi there, welcome! This is a place for my life as a writer, journalist, flâneuse, spiritual explorer and generally curious soul.

I’m also director for audience development at TED and was the first editor for Audience and Analytics named to The Wall Street Journal masthead. I led audience and digital strategy at DNAinfo before that, and so much more before that!

I won a few awards for my journalism and have written for numerous publications, including the New York Times, Modern Loss, Tue/Night, Human Shift and many more.

I was born in Argentina and raised in New Jersey, and have lived in New York City since 1995. I do not know that I could live anywhere else at this point. I enjoy a quiet life above the Cloisters in the woods of Upper Manhattan where I am working on my first book, a memoir of self worth.
