Carl Baccus

I was the Principle Network Engineer for NASA Ames Research Center. I specialize in Cisco based networking, unified communications and security. I was a key member of NASA's first complete center Unified communications deployment, and have played a role in the strategies for the agency going forward in the UC arena. I hold several industry certifications including CCNA, CCNP (Voice), and I am currently in the process of my CCIE Collaboration certification. I am also a technology enthusiast, my interests include, programming (Python, Perl, Ruby...to name a few), Linux and Unix, Raspberry Pi hacking, Juniper Firewalls... the list goes on. Aside from being the quintessential techno geek, I do have an awesome wife and 3 great kids that help to keep me grounded.
