Carl Cortright

Hi! My name is Carl Cortright, and I am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder. I'm studying computer science and applied math with a focus on machine learning. My immediate interest is how machine learning is changing human computer interaction, the cultural impact that change will have, and the opportunities it will create. Long term, my focus is the proliferation of AI technology and how to expand AIs capabilities safely while still maintaining a significant upside for society. In my free time I like to run, ski, road bike, and go on long walks with good friends.
