I am a highly motivated, resourceful, technically minded person who is self-disciplined, good humoured and capable of adapting to a rapidly changing environment with almost 15 years in the Information Security field. My primary areas of expertise are threat intelligence and analysis, vulnerability management and security investigations. My key strengths are my ability to communicate well at all levels, with a common-sense approach to problems and tasks, with excellent problem solving abilities. I work well with others in a team environment or, when required, on my own. As well an ability to quickly familiarise myself with new applications or systems.

In a number of scenarios, if I haven’t been able to find software to aid my working roles then I have designed, written and implemented my own, including:
• New system for the structured analysis of new vulnerabilities.
• Security Incident Database management system.
• Complete electronic backup incident management system for a national helpdesk.
• Firewall syslog Geo Mapping and alerting system.
• IP Blacklist monitoring system, including Geo Mapping, Alerting and Dashboard.
• Vulnerability Scanning analytical system.
• Network scanning service looking for prohibited content and potential copyright infringements.
