James Carlino

James R. Carlino is a seasoned police chief. He has spent over 20 years on the force, gaining experience in fire response, EMT service, and airport law enforcement. After training with the United States Air Force, he commanded security teams at airports nationwide. He currently operates in Sarasota, FL, contributing to a safe and secure community.

He has also been a commander of police investigations. His experience with command and supervisory, and detective units has been pivotal to his success. He took control over a force in one of Atlanta's busiest and most violent areas. After just one year of his work, crimes rates were reduced. He and his detective unit also made a record amount of arrests.

During his time in Atlanta, James Carlino commanded a patrol unit in the 'night club district.' His supervision over proceedings in Buckhead and downtown Atlanta has shrunk criminal incidents. He also worked with homeland security at the world's busiest airport. Working at Hartsfield-Jackson airport prepared him for his service before and during the 1996 Olympics. He has extensive experience surrounding large-event planning and operations.

Not all of police chief James Carlino's work is directly related to the force. He acts as homeland security professor at State College of Florida. He is also the public safety professor at Capella University. His first-hand experience makes him a valuable instructor and educator. Students revere him for his talents and accomplishments.

As a working adult, he returned to school, enrolling at Saint Leo University. He earned a degree in criminal justice administration.
