I'm a Broadcast Engineer and Camera Operator for Live Outside Broadcasts pursuing a degree at the University of Surrey.

I've been interested in filmmaking since starting it at GCSE's at school and have made many short films over the years. Most of these have been live action, however, for my final A-Level film I made a 5-minute 3D animation using Blender.

When it comes to live action filmmaking, I particularly enjoy being hands-on with a camera and telling stories through clever camera work.

My passion and interest for live broadcast came when I started at Surrey - the satisfaction and problem solving skills make the work feel more rewarding at the end of the day. Over the last year on placement I worked on a variety of projects across a wide range of genres including live sport, news, entertainment, theatre, music and fashion. I've been an engineer, sound assistant, camera assistant, camera operator just to name a few.
