I lived in Italy for most of my life until I met my wife Carole and moved to US. I like to believe that believe I'm a cheerful and social person. I studied Set Design in Rome and Genova up until in 2005 when I started to work on a website. Since than I kept dealing with the front end of online application both designing and coding.
When it comes to design, my favorite part is Wireframing and Prototyping and Testing which I humbly approach using paper, any tracing tools available, scissors, post-its, whiteboards, InDesign, Balsamick, Microsoft Visio, AxureRP, Photoshop and patience.
As a freelancer I enjoy spending time with people and work directly with customers.
Front end wise my specialty are CMS implementation with a predilection for Wordpress and CakePHP. I've been working also on MediaWiki and Joomla!
I'm proficient in PHP, MySQL, Html, jQuery, Javascript and lately I've been starting to work / learn Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Java.
In 2012 i decided to pursue a Master's Degree in HCI at DePaul. I'll be graduating in Summer 2014.
I'm currently employed by a private software company as in house UX / Front End consultant.
I have an hydroponic cultivation of herbs in my kitchen. I'm expanding it to start growing microgreens and edible flowers
