I started my own record label (VoxPop) and music publishing (Mondopop) in 1990.

Proceeded to sign a string of talented artists. Some went on to platinum selling and/or chart topping, some did not, but they generally made the italian music scene a whole lot better. Quite a few are still around and relevant today and that is what I'm most proud of.

I put the label online in 1995 but soon realised it was a bit too early.. Sold it in 1997 and was hired as head of A&R for the italian subsidiary of the newly formed, Richard Branson owned, V2 Records.

By the end of the 90s the writing for the italian music industry was clearly on the wall so I left to join Internet giant Tiscali as music consultant and moved to their swanky new offices in Soho, London, UK.

Then the Internet bubble burst and the swanky new offices were sold.

I decided I had had enough and concentrated in pursuing some totally new and completely different ventures: two kids and a catering business.

Now that the kids have grown and the catering business has been sold, I feel it's time for me to go back to working with music.

Because change is happening at an exciting pace and there is an opprtunity window to build a new world.

It's going to be fun.

Oh, and in the meantime I am still cooking delicious food in the South of England!
