Writer in Milan and Lago Maggiore

Carlo Lottek Landriscina was born in Milan seven years after 1950 and lives in Lesa, on Lake Maggiore. He comes from the field of communication (copywriting) and has five books (at this moment only in Italian) to his credit: Porta le mentine, Ricordati il bitter, Ho un po' di sistema nervoso, Appunti e disappunti, Bocciofila etilica e metafisica, all for Edizioni Akkuaria. They are stories, reflections, notes heavily influenced by Poe and Buzzati; the author is waiting to go from centometrist to cross-country skier: the blessed novel! He appears in two anthologies which have as subject the Greek myths, his ancient love. He won the Ranieri Filo della Torre literary prize with a poem dedicated to Athena who, for the author, is a babysitter, caregiver and tutelary goddess. For the more curious, Lottek is a nickname dedicated to Otto Klemperer's daughter, Lotte. Once he loved cats, then something must have happened and the feeling has faded. He runs as always armed with lysoform, because he is a bit obsessive-compulsive. But basically he's a good man.
