Carlo Micheli

Hello, I'm the human equivalent of the "bruh" sound effect and a final year FVPT student.

I recently worked as a video editor under the corporate video production company Bold Content. Here I refined my skills as a video and content editor and was able to get further insight into the industry standards and workflows. Throughout the delivery of past projects, I acquired ample experience within the editing software suites, both Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. I have a clear understanding of the technologies both behind televised and small productions, as well as lots of on field experience in a variety of creative films.

My skills

• Extensive experience within the Adobe Editing Suite, accumulated through through narrative and corporate video editing.

• Field production (directing and DOP), with a strong understanding of pre and post-production processes

• Extensive expertise in camera use, setting up and proper lighting

• Understanding of Video Signals and Encoding of Video Packets

My wish and objective for the year is to produce a great narrative piece and achieve a cinematic grade image. Along the way I will also try get a better understanding of music composing for video and possibly dwell again in audio post production.

My hobbies outside of film making are photography, snow boarding and the occasional video game.
