Biography

Carlos Beirao da Veiga was born in Faro, Portugal on July 17, 1986. From a very young age, he learned invaluable lessons from his parents - two hardworking individuals who showed him first-hand the value of what passion, dedication, and unparalleled attention to detail could do for someone's life.

His father Santiago had made a name for himself as an advertising executive, making a significant impact for a large national soft drink company in Portugal. His mother Ana was a business professor who was responsible for instilling a high-quality education in all of her students.

Once he had finished high school, Carlos Beirao da Veiga decided to pursue his degree in the United States. He moved to California where he achieved his B.A. in Communications at UCLA. Also during this period, he began to network and make the types of connections that would serve him well long after graduation. He even began to develop a reputation as something of a social butterfly - one with the ability to not just have fun, but to also engage in conversation with anyone, anywhere, and at any time.

After graduating with the honor of being in the top 10% of his class, Carlos Beirao da Veiga earned an internship with a large media company. During this period he was also earning his Master's Degree in Marketing.

Once his educational career was finished and after he felt he had accomplished much of what he had set out to, Carlos Beirao da Veiga decided to return to his native Portugal. Upon arrival, he made the decision to pursue additional education, and be closer to his family. He started graduate school at the University of Aveiro, which helped him learn even more about the world of marketing.

Carlos Beirao da Veiga now runs his own marketing agency - Da Veiga Consulting. When not at work helping clients, he spends time with his family and two dogs Coco and Connie.
