Carlos A. Chávez

I live in Brighton (UK) and I work at the University of Sussex as a researcher in experimental particle physics. After leaving my home country (México) more than 14 years ago, I have lived in the UK, USA and Switzerland working mostly in the field of experimental particle physics. My experience as a scientist, scientific software developer, data analyst and my expertise in advance statistical techniques, provides an excellent combination as a data scientist.

I was born in the south of Jalisco state in México, in the town of Tamazula de Gordiano. The valley of Tamazula is mainly know for the production of sugar cane.

I like sports, food, travelling and dogs, in particular I like open water swimming, running and skiing.

I speak Spanish and English, some basic French too.
