Hello, my name is Carlos Santiago, I studied sports organization manager and I live in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am a fan of sports, coffee and martial arts. I am also interested in volunteering and education. I am currently a teacher of physical education and health in the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. I have 4 judo projects in different towns. They serve a population of limited resources and my main objective in these projects, is that participants can develop in sports and life. I work as an educator of the program of the International Olympic Committee and ADECCO called CAreer + that works with the transitions of athletes from all countries. I represent the athletes in the Olympic Committee of my country since at present I am the President of the Athletes Commission. Internationally, I am part of the Panam Sportsman Athletes Commission which represents athletes from all over America. I join the executive committee of the Olympic Committee of Puerto Rico and also as a delegate in the assemblies with voice and vote in both. I am part of the board of full time athletes of the Recreation and Sports Department of Puerto Rico. I was Olympic judo athlete in Sydney 2000. In the university also competed in wrestling and weightlifting, getting a medal in all 3 sports. I have a judo trainer certification from the International Judo Federation and another one from the High Performance Center of Barcelona and INEFC of Catalonia.
