Carlos Fuerte, one of Toronto’s most beloved Chilean immigrants, has been making people sweat on the dance floor since the warehouse rave days of the early 90’s. As the party scene migrated into downtown, Carlos rocked residencies at Toronto’s most memorable ‘underground’ clubs such as System Sound Bar and Turbo. His energetic yet soulful deep tec house sets also flowed through the speakers of the likes of Industry, Comfort Zone, Mad Bar and over the airwaves on his own radio shows on The Global Groove Network 100.7 and Montreal’s 89 FM. Today, Carlos is still making electronic music history as a DJ, producer and record label owner. Having played alongside house music heavyweights, Carlos knows more than a thing or two on how to shake up a party. You can catch Carlos headlining at Toronto’s underground parties in the city. The Deep sounds of producers like Kerri Chandler, Masters at work, Timmy Regisford to deep techno sounds of Marco Carola, Jeff Millsb & Joel Mull and New York underground clubs like The Shelter and gospel singers like Stevie Wonder are examples of inspirations that help Carlos create soul-vibrating tracks.
