If the increasing hyper-specialization has become a reality for most professionals, the ability to think Interdisciplinary becomes more and more relevant both in the academia and in the market. In continuously exercising this ability, I’ve been able to identify significant intersections in seemingly disparate fields (e.g.; public and private; corporate and scholarly, luxury and spirituality; narrative and branding; anxiety and time; etc.), where the best research and business opportunities seem to be found. Few professionals have experience in both the public and private worlds and in the corporate and researching fields; and fewer still are able to provide solid and recurring outcomes in all of these areas. From Oct/1996 to Dec/2014, I’ve contributed, as the strategist/planner of a talented and diversified team, in producing these results: economy measured in millions of dollars per year (e.g.; standardizing stocks of supplies and establishing payroll loans after lowering bank rates in 2001-2002), successful re-shaping of resistant administrative structures (e.g.; PCRJ/SMA in 2001-2004; PCRJ/SMEL in 2013-104) and “client” final response and satisfaction (e.g.; increasing number of votes in the following elections: 2000/2004/2006/2010/2014; corporate ambiance and culture changes, besides the physical refurbishing of both PCRJ/SMA in 2001-2004 and PCRJ/SMEL in 2013-2014). Since 1998, I’ve published four books and more articles; I’ve researched and have successfully presented works recognized for their originality and consistency in both scholarly and non-academic areas; I’ve developed courses syllabi and taught demanding under-graduated and business students alike; I’ve translated a reference book in my field among other achievements.
