Carlos Ortet

Carlos Ortet (Carles Ortet in Catalan) is a Barcelona-based computer engineer, entrepreneur and applied-AI researcher. He is co-founder and CEO of Zoopa and of 498 Advance, where he created GEORadar, a GEO intelligence service that measures how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode perceive and recommend brands. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Computer Architecture from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), where he taught as associate professor and then professor in the Department of Computer Architecture (1991-2000), and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork.
