My name is Carlos and I like to eat.

Finance Exec by day – passionate (and very accomplished) eater rest of the time.

Through my years of cooking I noticed how easily I forget how to cook (or NOT cook) certain dishes and this blog is my weapon in fighting my kitchen amnesia.

I am as Belgian as can be, brought up on fries and chocolate and I live in the capital, , with my Anglo-Lebanese husband. I’m never bored in the kitchen: between my hubbie begging me to attempt to recreate some of his favorite English and Lebanese dishes, and all of the international influences in , I really don’t get bored. Given that my job takes me most weeks to , I don’t get a lot of opportunity to cook during the week, so my food is mostly weekend food. The meals you cook when you have time. However – given that I am no stranger to bouts of absolute laziness I dare to throw together some quick meals as well.

The recipes mentioned on the blog are never mine - they are merely borrowed, adjusted to my tasted and passed along. I think it is what you add yourself to a recipe that makes it unique and the more I cook, the more I discover what make my taste buds happy.
