Carl Radford

Over the past two decades, Carl Radford has worked with multiple financial firms, such as Bluecrest Capital and HSBC. Throughout this time, Carl Radford has held various roles, with many of these being leadership positions.
He initially joined HSBC as a trader working in Australia's financial markets. Over the following years, Mr. Radford was promoted on two occasions and subsequently became the firm’s head of Australian and New Zealand dollar derivatives trading.
With the position, he led a staff of three and managed long and short trades, alongside derivatives trading. Since 2012, Carl Radford has worked with Bluecrest Capital, initially serving as a portfolio manager in its Singapore offices. After five years in the role, he moved to the company’s San Francisco offices.
Working in the rates group, Mr. Radford specializes in relative value trading. Drawing on his previous experience, he also focuses on the New Zealand and Australian dollars. In addition, he directly oversees $200 million in capital.
