Carl Segerblom

An active supporter of social justice both in his native Las Vegas and Washington, D.C., Carl Segerblom has served as a political organizer for various organizations. Currently studying law at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, he currently holds membership at the school’s Law Journal for Social Justice, and he is a candidate for receiving his Juris Doctorate in December 2011. Previously, Carl Segerblom studied at Colgate University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in History in May 2005. After working for the John Edwards presidential campaign in 2007 and 2008, Carl Segerblom joined the Power2Change Campaign for the Sierra Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, petitioning local leaders in supporting clean energy initiatives, and using Earth Day events to promote clean energy as a viable alternative as well as a source of economic growth. In the summer of 2009, Carl Segerblom served a summer legal externship for the Democrat Policy Committee at the Senate Hart Office Building in Washington, D.C. In this role, Carl Segerblom assisted in researching and drafting proposed legislation as well as assisted in organizing a hearing on defense contractor abuses in Iraq.
