I've been writing software since 1975 and practicing medicine since 1989. Through my company Healium, I'm combining these paths into one with the goal of improving patient care, healing the doctor-patient relationship, and decreasing the time physicians spend in computer tasks. I embrace the seeming paradox of creating technology that makes technology disappear, enabling the magic that happens only when we humans connect deeply and directly with one another.
