Carmen Cayon

Phase I: Born in Havana, Cuba, came to this country as an exile in 1966. Grew up in Indianapolis, later moved with my family to Tampa. I graduated from University of Florida in 1985-College of Architecture, I studied interior design, art and ceramics. Discovered my creativity!

Phase II:After working my way through college, I graduated w/ high honors, I moved back to Tampa; got married, became a mom of 4 and worked for 20 + years as an interior designer and design educator. Discovered my call to be a partner to my husband and a mentor to many.

Phase III: Master's of Arts Degree in Theology from St. Leo University while maintaining active business at Estudio Cayon Design Co., teaching college design classes and being a volunteer catechist at my church. Has led me to become Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization at Incarnation Catholic Church. Discovered that work can be play.
