A little mix of everything, but mostly in love with the pretty things in life...

Hey y'all! I'm Carmen Ferrell. I was born and raised in Southeast Georgia. I live in the country with my sweet husband Ross, our beautiful chocolate lab Georgia Annabelle (Belle for short), and our two cows "Blackie" and "Whitie."

I haven't always appreciated life in the South. Growing up, all I ever wanted was to get out of the small town and move to the big city of New York and be super famous. Well, guess what? I did move to New York and it was amazing, and I'll never forget everything I experience while I was there. I made the most of my time there. But, one day, I realized it was time to go home.

Shortly after I moved home I met Ross, who is an inspiration to me every day. He and Belle have helped me turn into a real woman. I have learned to appreciate things about the South that I never appreciated before, especially the pretty things in the South. This blog serves as my collection of my experiences I have along this journey of life.
