I am a daughter of God, saved by the blood of Jesus Christ by their merciful grace of my Father, and I want to live out of that identity. I am a wife, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, and experimenter! I want to love first. Love Gods children, his creation, and God! Practically this plays out in many ways; through loving my husband as the church loves Christ, through serving in my church and community, through taking care of the planet as best as I can, and by taking care of my body with healthy foods! Do I have all these down? Nope. Nowhere close! It's not about me though, it's about Christ working in me!

As far as this blog goes, I hope to share lovely healthy recipes, experiments from daily life, and thoughts to ponder! I am also a musician, knitter, and teacher, so I'm sure there will be posts along those lines as well! I'll be posting Meal Planning Monday every week, and then will share the extra great recipes throughout the week - everything else will be, SPONTANEOUS! So I hope you enjoy.
