Carmen Salas is a creative producer, curator and programmer working at the intersection of art, technology, design and digital culture.

Carmen is also founder/artistic director of Alpha-ville London - a creative studio & festival exploring the innovate space where art, creative tech, and digital culture overlap.

She has over 10 years experience acquired through strategic design, curation, management and production of events, festivals, conferences, workshops and digital projects.

Her practice is interdisciplinary and focuses on exploring how digital media and new technologies are shaping society and enabling new possibilities for the arts and culture.

Co-founder, curator and producer of two events:

1 - Exchange Creative Conference

One-day conference designed to offer the London art, tech and creative communities the opportunity to get inspired, make meaningful connections and exchange ideas with professionals within and across industries.

2 - Alpha-ville Live

Series of events dedicated to exploring the relationship between sound, image and digital technologies.

Carmen is currently working on 3 art+tech projects:

- Rambert - Sprint: Digital Creative Residency

A pilot programme for artists, technologists and designers created by Rambert Dance Company and Caper in collaboration with Alpha-ville. .

- Lawrence Lek's new digital art project - MVWorks.

MVWorks is an experimental programme supporting makers, artists and designers working with tech.

- New Realities Touring Exhibition at Telefonica Foundation Lima (March - July 2016)

In January 2016, she started working on a new project that aims to bring together & promote women movers, creators, shakers, entrepreneurs & change-makers in #art #tech #design #fashion #science #digital.
