CarmenTe Rodriguez Photography

Born and raised in the Caribbean , enchanted by two cultures (puertorrican and cuban), she decided in her younger years that Photography was her thing. Being the Editor of Raices'84, school yearbook at senior year, gave her the confidence she needed to start her career.

Achieving a BD in Visual Arts and working for local newspapers and magazines, she accepted the challenge to move to Rhode Island and completed a full program in Rhode Island School of Photography. After becoming a professional photographer in 1989, she experienced some assisting jobs in New York, but returning home to Puerto Rico was always in her mind.

Back in her hometown, she worked in the fashion field, collaborating with top local designers, shooting lots of runways along with many retail photos in Studio.

After being blessed by her first child Andrea, she started to photograph children and established her own studio in 1997. Successfully ever since, she has been documenting the lives of many families not only in San Juan also in Miami and Savannah,Ga.

Mastering B/W darkroom printing leaded her talent to hand paint black and white photos of kids, that steel are hanging on the walls of hundreds of people who acquired them in the late 90's and early 2000.

Then the Digital Era took over... and growing along with technology, updated equipment and many years of experience, she captures the essence of any moment and makes them last forever.

Photographing children and family portraits, her wedding albums are like stories, excellent at sports, very fast and dynamic ready to cover any private activity or a mayor concert event as well as performing arts.
