Carmen Yount

I'm Carmen, a natural science illustrator and nature journaling enthusiast in Spokane, Washington. I'm also a raptor docent at the West Valley Outdoor Learning Center, where I work with unreleasable birds of prey.

After more than a decade working for The Associated Press as an election coordinator (building and testing election tabulation databases), I headed to the University of Washington to study natural science illustration, and then to USC for a GIS certificate.

I have a couple of projects that are under wraps at the moment that I hope to share with the world soon!
