I'm a multimedia artist focused on information technology art. I have an MFA and many years experience in information technology (software developer, project manager, information architect). Currently I make tech-based artworks and teach online technology courses for Lesley University, Cambridge, MA, USA. I'm also the Assistant Director of Baltan Laboratories, an art and research lab in Eindhoven, NL. I've exhibited in North America, Europe and Asia, and I am a founding member of the Electronic Disturbance Theater, the art activist group who created FloodNet and established electronic civil disobedience and a powerful mode of online mass protest. I have also been the Assistant Director of Boston Cyberarts, (Boston, MA) and of MAD Emergent Art Center (Eindhoven, NL). My ambition is to contribute to the positive social engagement of new technologies through art. I hope to further the synergy between artists, scientists, and engineers toward new cultural insights and innovation.
