Car News Cafe

Planet Earth

Car News Cafe is a website founded by three automotive journalists brought together by serendipity in a semi-random way. We cover a wide variety of automotive news, test drives, vehicle information, as well as a weekly podcast. We found that together, we make a complete team of car experts and enthusiast journalists. So we decided to pool our collective resources and expertise and founded CarNewsCafe.com.

Our goal is to bring you, the reader, several perspectives on the industry and the vehicles in it while at the same time informing and entertaining both you and ourselves as impartially as possible. To help you get to know us better, below are quick biographies to introduce us and why we decided to collaborate instead of going our individual ways, including some controversy about the automotive press you may not be aware of.

Aaron Turpen

An automotive enthusiast for most of his adult life, Aaron has worked in and around the industry an accredited member of the International Motor Press Association (IMPA) and of the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press (RMAP). Aaron freelances as a writer and journalist and in print. His writing ranges from do-it-yourself (DIY) mechanics to coverage of design as well as a look at future powertrain technologies.

Adam Yamada-Hanff

Adam Yamada-Hanff has always loved anything with wheels or that can move whether it be trains, bikes, cars, or planes. Adam covers fun and interesting auto stories, as well as relationships people have with their vehicles. Adam is a member of International Motor Press Association (IMPA) and the Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA).

Nicolas Zart has been around collector cars since birth, but it wasn't until he drove a Tesla Roadster he was convinced the future lies with electric motors. SInce 2006, he has actively covered alternative energy vehicle news, and has been publised internationally. He is an acreddited member of the International Motor Press Association, as well as the Motor Press Guild, MPG. Nicolas enjoys test drives and particularly filming them.
