Caro Londoño

Caro Londoño, is a student of Florida International University, earning credits towards her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with an Event and Meeting Planning Certificate.

She previously attended Miami Dade College, where she she graduated in 2007 with an AA in Journalism and Mass Communications. She was part of the Band of the Hour as a Hurricanette for three years and was a Sophmore Color Guard Captain, an honor usually not awarded until a Hurricanette's Senior Year. In Fall of 2006 she was initiated as a member of the University of Miami Tau Beta Sigma chapter, a co-educational national honorary band sorority dedicated to serving college and band programs.

Then she spent three years working and studying in San Diego, California and one year in Surf City, North Carolina. In July 2011, Caro returned to her hometown of Miami, FL where she currently lives with her parents, sister Sarah, her sister's Yorkie Daisy and Caro's American Bulldog Pattie. Caro is extremely proud to be part of her vey large Colombian-American family.

Upon returning home, Caro accepted the position of Parlimentatrian of PARK Project, a non-profit organization that is spreading the worldwide message, Perform Acts of Random Kindness. PARK is dedicated to facilitating opportunities for people, companies and organizations to unite in support of the Project. It is their mission that this short, yet powerful, message inspires and empowers people of all ages, capabilities and resources to LIVE THE CAUSE...PARK! As Parlimentarian she is Responsible for general administrative duties, operations, maintaining order and ensuring proper procedure during meetings.

She is the personal assistant for MarlyQ of StarMarEvents, a South Florida based corporation specializing in comprehensive Consulting, Production and Management of large and small scale Corporate, Non-Profit and Public events. Here, she started off as an unpaid intern and in two months became a full time paid employee, while still in school, for her outstanding performance.

Caro is a highly efficient and professional student with entrepreneurial aspirations. She is a pationate animal lover, military supporter, and "it gets better" believer. One day she hopes to spend extensive time helping young teenage girls with self esteem, depression and anxiety problems to work through the rough spots and see the light at the end of the tunnel!
