In 2003, a year after obtaining her B. Sc. in Architecture, Carol moved to Europe pursuing a M. Sc. in Architecture specializing in Museology and Scenography.
Over the next years, she developed her career in Advanced Architecture via educational and research projects.
Looking at the foreseeable future in cities, in 2009 she co-founded Cilab, a company addressing smart city needs through a holistic approach.
As a CEO of Cilab, she gained the knowledge about sociology, urbanism, engineering and design needed to offer smart cities the most efficient urban public services. Having worked with experts in such different areas, Carol Burton brings an expert understanding of how to navigate both the creative and the corporate arenas.
She realized the potential these professionals have in contributing forward thinking for architecture evolution, which provided her with the insight to create CB Architecture
