Carol Burns

I am fully trained journalist with more than 15 years of experience in the newspaper and magazine industries.

Alongside being a freelance magazine editor for a number of regional lifestyle titles for Archant Life, I supply articles and photography to national magazines, focusing on the arts.

I also work with corporate and public sector clients including the NHS Insititue for Innovation and Improvement developing written material for their NHS improvement programmes.

Other skills include page design (using InDesign and Quark Xpress), web content and commissioning, managing a team, budgets, photography and, of course, writing for a wide range of audiences.

Alongside a BA (hons) in English Literature and my National Certificate Examination (NCE) newspaper journalism qualification, I also hold a degree and Master's degree in Fine Art.
