- Supporting extracurricular activities to give students opportunities with safe spaces to talk about their feelings and make new friends like our LGBTQ club.
- Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Support learning science and stem with a destination imagination club to help students feel inspired, develop their creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and idea generation.
- Supporting student’s individual learning styles, with student-led learning, activities that are culturally appropriate, incorporating student ideas, voices, interests, strengths, inquiries and needs.
- Empowering children of all racial, ethnic, social backgrounds to create a stronger bond between home and school life to build on learning.
- Supporting students with emotional management, listening and providing restorative justice practices to create a sense of community.
- Supporting student’s mental health by regularly discussing mental health topics in class without identifying specific students while explaining that there is no shame in having mental health issues and being available to listen.
