I am an actor turned theatre director. I co-founded Arc Theatre www.arctheatre.com in 1986 with writer Clifford Oliver and have just stepped down as Artistic Director/CEO (July 2013) I am passionate and curious about life and people's endless uniqueness and I love making and directing theatre and working with and training actors. I have a thirst for learning, humour, fun and new adventures. I am now delighted to announce the launch of my new company Jasmine Street - which has its first grown-up outing this summer with its Actor Training workshops in association with Arc. Jasmine Street Creative Lab at the Granary is a place and a space for new creative and intellectual capital and a laboratory for practice and collaboration with fellow artists, particularly theatre makers, visual artists, musicians and collaborators from other fields who are curious about working with artists on new ideas and initiatives.

My primary personal passion is directing theatre and I look forward to taking on new opportunities for this with theatres in the UK and internationally.
