Carole Radziwill

JOURNALISM Carole began her career at ABC working for Peter Jennings’ documentary unit. She reported on stories in Cambodia, Haiti, and Israel; including a series called Line in the Sand about the Gulf War. Carole was also a producer for 20/20 and Primetime Live with Diane Sawyer. During the 2001 Afghanistan War, she spent 6 weeks embedded with the 101st Airborne Division in Khandahar. She produced segments for an ABC-TV program called Profiles From the Frontline which aired in May 2003.

WRITING Carole has written two books: What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love her critically-acclaimed memoir, and The Widow’s Guide to Sex & Dating her debut novel out Feb 2014. From 2006 to 2009, Carole wrote for Glamour interviewing newsmakers and celebrities. Her work has also been published in Bazaar, Marie Claire, Town & Country, and San Francisco Chronicle.

TELEVISION Carole joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York as the “voice of reason” in 2012. She has made numerous TV appearances including The Oprah Winfrey Show, 20/20, Larry King, GMA, Today, Anderson Cooper 360° and Charlie Rose.

AWARDS and ENDORSEMENTS Carole’s book What Remains spent 20 weeks on The New York Times’ Bestseller List. She has won 3 Emmy Awards, a Robert F. Kennedy Humanitarian Award, and a GLADD Award, and was voted one of Us Weekly’s “25 Best-Dressed New Yorkers”. In 2012, Carole signed an endorsement deal with Samsung for the Galaxy Note II.
