Carolien Moors
Dutch entrepreneur who returned to live in Minnesota in 2007 with a family of five. Lived and worked in the Netherlands, Germany, the U.K. and six previous years in the U.S. in the mid to late nineties.
I enjoy 23 years of experience in organizational coaching, mentoring, training, and speaking. Working with personnel from work floor to boardroom in small and large companies in many different industries: the food, steel, and hospitality industry, manufacturing and energy companies, government agencies, education, and non-profit organizations.
It is my passion to work on challenges related to collaboration, leadership development, stress prevention and management, change management, communication and presentation skills, assertiveness, accountability, and personal resilience. I am known as the candor coach, provoking respectfully. I regularly speak at conferences and in companies about above topics.
My coaching, workshop, and training interventions help organizations improve employee, team, and organizational effectiveness by increasing insights and skills related to self-awareness, reflection, critical thinking, problem solving, self-management, and effective collaboration. This is my passion, this is what I like and do best.
I earned three masters degrees, in Education and in Psychology (Industrial and Clinical). I'm schooled and trained in system thinking, the gestalt psychology, cognitive psychology, and provocative therapy, and knowledgeable about many management and leadership schools of thought.
Examples of awards include Woman of the Year 2012-2013 by the National Association of Professional Women and the 2012 Achieving Dreams Award by the non-profit RESOURCE Inc. in Minneapolis to which I have been donating my expertise for the past three years.
My clients recognize me for my business acumen, for being result-driven, for being culturally savvy, for consistently exceeding expectations, for high standards for integrity and accountability, for sharp observations and astuteness, and for respectful confrontations and provocations that get people moving in the right direction. My interventions are not for the meek – the unspoken will be out on the table in a way that it benefits my customers. I am known to disrupt, provoke, and confront in a way that leads to growth and increased effectiveness and with the utmost respect for my clients.
