Personal Statement

I am a highly trained teacher with over 18 years’ experience. All this time has been spent in roles where I’ve taught subjects in English. I’ve returned from an eight-month stay in Australia, where I achieved a CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at Imagine Education- I did my placement at Rachel’s Place Child Care Centre to gain insight into the Early Childhood industry in Down Under and worked at Little Scholars School of Early Learning George Street as well.

I also lived over six months in New Zealand, where I had a part- time teaching position at Parnell Community Centre, Auckland.

Recently I have been providing in-depth training to adults for overseas English learning trips at Education First- EF and I am currently coaching and assisting students for Cambridge Exams such as IELTS, FCE and CAE as an English Trainer at Emerald Language Centre in Mexico.

I am passionate about teaching. I get great satisfaction from watching the students who I teach learn and thrive in a welcoming, safe, friendly, collaborative, inclusive and respectful environment.
