Carolina Brinca

Carolina is a community pharmacist living in Portugal who has been working for the past 6 years in her family’s pharmacy in Portugal. She is also the responsible for the Pharmaceutical Service at a local health unit. In 2011, she has attended a post-graduation in Pharmacy Management as the demand of her job made her realize that she needed new skills and improved knowledge. To increase her knowledge even more she is now attending a post-graduation in Sales and Trade Marketing. For her future she aspire working on a recognized international pharmaceutical company. The international training she had back in her graduation, which took place in London, makes her want to experience different work realities. Besides her professional life, she is also a local politician. She enjoys involving her Pharmacy into the community, specifically in teaching healthcare to the population she is serving. She misses the years when she was a competition swimmer, a sport she is still practicing.
